I've been looking to an alternative to .mac and i've found a good starting point.
Using an apple script to upload to my webserver my callendar. This requires an scriptable ftp application and this tip uses Transmit.

ThinkSecret: Apple iPod mini with Color Screens

color_Minis.jpgThinkSecret is reporting that the next update to the iPod mini will include a 5 ot 6GB hard drive and full-color screens. The price will remain the same, at $250. Expect an announcement within the next two weeks, they say.

No wonder Apple did'nt use the subpoenas against think secret. Why would they want to keep those rumors from comming out? Buyers will sure be hapy to her about this.

Napster responds to Napster To Go burning

napster logo (smaller)

We’ll be the first to admit that yesterday’s news about a plug-in for WinAmp that let’s you make CDs out of files downloaded from Napster’s new all-you-can-download Napster To Go service was blown way out of proportion. Yeah, the plug-in makes it simple, but at the end of the day there’s nothing special about exporting audio from protected files and capturing it with your sound card, and Napster’s officially responded with a statement emphasizing that no encryption has been broken, nothing has been hacked, and that Napster is still secure. Alright?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Already getting attention wow napster your fast. Yap to vin sue napster anko or maybe just close their monthly system down

Napster To Go launches

napster logo (smaller) Napster formally launched today that flat-rate all-you-can download Napster To Go service they’ve been testing for the past few months. For $15 a month you can download as much music as you want—and transfer it to a portable device—but the catch is that once you stop paying the monthly fee you can’t listen to any of the music anymore (you can still pay per track for stuff you want to keep). [via Engadget]

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Well if you ask me thats a sweet deal $ 15 / month give a hacker 2 months and he'll have all the songs available on the store on his computer saved with no DRM "digital rights management" and wont have to pay monthly until he needs new songs. And Napster's only made it easier for people to download music and then find a way to remove the DMR . good bye p2p appz ! no more qued files.

HP's hw6500 PPC and Phone

Engadget has more on HP's Treo Competition. So much for a Pocketpc version treo, why bother when you can get an HP...

HP's hw6500: size, details, more pics! iPAQ hw6500 + SD superimposed

So we had to know—exactly how big is the new iPAQ Mobile Messenger? Disclaimer: these are speculative numbers, and were derived using very inexact processes on those leaked photos (read: no guarantees, people!). So we superimposed an SD card within the SD slot (see right for example) and ran the numbers, calculating sizes, ratios, angles, and perspective (thank you high school geometry!). What we came up with were some surprisingly round digits: if we did our math right, it should have a square 3.2-inch screen (each side being 2.28-inches), and be 4.75-inches tall, 2.86-inches wide, and 0.77-0.9-inches deep (between its thinnest and thickest points). Compare that to the Treo 650’s 4.4 x 2.3 x 0.9-inch dimensions and the BenQ P50’s 4.7 x 2.4 x 0.8-inch dimensions, and what you’ve got here is a device that’s a bit bigger still than the others in its class.

But, we’ve got some new details on the thing that help justify that bit of extra heftiness—yes, there’s both an SDIO and a miniSD card slot on the right side (we were wondering what that smaller slot was…), and in addition to the GSM/GPRS/EDGE and integrated GPS receiver, it will have Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel camera option, a removeable flip cover, and USB docking station. If all this is true—we’re not saying it is, necessarily—then this may just be the long lost smartphone of our dreams!

By simply using a an FM transmitter. OK by now yu've probably guessed it, using an FM transmitter you could transmit any sound from your computer to any radio thats nt to far from your transmitter.
